As a style of my company, all column chart data points are filled with a vertical gradient instead of a full color.

When I create charts in Calc and copy them over to Impress using Star Object Descriptor(XML) or GDI metafile format, the gradient format disappears when I switch Impress to slide show mode.

The loss of format happens when I create the charts directly in Impress (data entry in Impress Chart Data Table)

Did someone else made this experience? Did someone else report a bug?

My bug reports are https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56763 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56766

Sounds like fdo#56766 is fixed in 4.0 (per comments on the bug). Not sure about the state of fdo#56763. Interestingly, the status of both in bugzilla is still (!?) NEW.

@qubit - That one of the bugs is solved is good news and makes me changing from 3.6.5 to 4.0 most likely a bit earlier.

You can close this question with BUG FILED. Thanks for digging this question out again.

@ROSt52,

Should we resolve this one as 'BUG FILED'?

@quibit - Sorry for very late answer. Yes, you can resolve this with BUG FILED. I don't know yet how to do it.
