I have a document in two column format and indexed titles. When I make an index for the document it comes out in two columns, the leader from title to page number is on two lines and the numbers are cut off (or run off the page.) Despite much manipulation I have not been able to correct any of this. Suggestions appreciated!

Do you mean an alphabetical index or a table of contents? In any case, I sometimes have that problem with a TOC when I have two tabs in the structure and forget to set a value for the first one - in that case it uses the same right aligned tab for both, resulting in something like what you describe.
