Since Ubuntu upgrade to V16.04.1 Libre Office takes so long to load up docs. Then the various drop down menus (File - Edit, Insert, View, Format, Styles etc) do not appear for ages. Small docs are much better but something isn’t right here.
Could you please advise my best course of action and give me instructions on how to proceed. {Uninstall - Re-install etc}
if you think that the best option. All other App software appears to be normal.

Try increasing memory allocation values via Tools → Options → Memory. However, the problem may be about your distro (or DE).
