On this page, does anyone know what is meant by, “Macros created with LibreOffice Basic based on the old programming interface will no longer be supported by the current version”?
Also any ideas about how to go about providing feedback to the author of this page?

That is likely a remnant from OpenOffice.org 1 to OpenOffice.org 2. It was already there in 2004-07-26.
The page is the mirror of the in-build help. There is no single “author” of that page. The in-build help is a large collection of files, grown over the years and it is a ongoing task to keep the help up-to-date. Please write a bug report and the sentence will be removed.
