Using LibreOffice 5.2.2.2, I often do several tables in a writer document, but I've lost count of the times the tooltip has popped up right in the way of where I want to click. Now if I could turn tooltips off entirely, I'd no longer have to try and click around a box that covers 90% of the table cell I'm trying to get into which says [ Adjust table row ] or [ Merge Cells ].

I found the instructions for turning Expanded Help Tips on and off, but that only made the tips even more verbose and, while more clarification is sometimes helpful, the obstacle I have to click around only gets larger with that option.
