Within writer, I’m hoping to delete an empty table. When I select the table in the ‘Navigator’ and attempt to delete it (right-click → Table → Delete), calc responds with ‘The structure of a linked table cannot be modified’. Is there a “secret” way to simply remove a troublesome table?
I ended up giving the table a unique name, saving the document as a flat XML (fodt) file and then deleting the table element and the associated style elements. This hardly seems ideal as a solution (i.e., I’m still wondering if I’m missing something that would have allowed me to simply delete the element using the UI).
Can you upload somewhere a sample document so that we can analyse the pecularities of it?
