How can I scroll down a document using finger on a touch screen? It currently only highlights text.

With LibreOffice on my Windows, I just use my finger on the scrollbar on the right of the screen

Thank you, mitchbw, for the answer. I don’t doubt that on an ample touchscreen and with a dainty finger using the scrollbar as you counsel would be satisfactory. Otherwise the method is erratic and one ends up resorting to Arrow down or Page down. So LibreOffice doesn’t permit routine one or two-fingered scrolling, anywhere on a document, then?
