My document keeps switching to double-spacing when I re-open the file. How do I stop this? I want the document to stay single-spaced.

Describe what you are doing. What is the format of your file (.odt, .doc, .docx, …)? Your OS and LO version.

Even better, share a sample file.

The format is docx. I thought it was odt. But instead of fighting it, I just spent 10 minutes creating a new document, copying and pasting the unformatted text, and making it look the way I want. The format stays upon reopening. Thanks yall.

I can confirm this is occurring for me on macOS 10.12.3 with LibreOffice 5.2.5.1. The .docx file is being saved as single space, but opens as double-spaced.

Not sure if it is related to a .docx template file downloaded from the web, I can’t replicate this with a new document saved as .docx.
