Calc conditional format formula cell reference is broken after close and open

I have a very simple conditional format rule to change the background colour of cells in column B based on value in column C. It works well. e.g. the formula in row 6 is “C6 = 1”.

But when I close the calc program and reopen it the formula becomes “$#REF!.C6 = 1” and so is broken.
I am using calc v.4.3.7.2 on Centos6.

This behaviour is repeatable.
Am I doing something wrong?

It is a workbook with a sheet for each week and so at the start of each week I copy my blank sheet to a new sheet for the current week. It works fine as long as I leave calc running for a few weeks. But if I have to reboot my computer, and therefore close calc, all my formula references are broken…

Pls, what file format do you use to save?

I save in .xls format

Do you have the same issue saving as ods or xlsx?

Thanks for the suggestion - I don’t seem to have the same problem now that I have changed to saving the spreadsheet as an ods file! I haven’t tried xlsx file type.

Then please can you report the issue en bugzilla. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/, remember to attach a sample file where to reproduce the issue.
