Can I print a table “as is” in the database?
Hi
- If it is not already, register the database:
Tools▸Options▸Base▸Databases▸New -
File▸New▸Spreadsheet -
View▸Datasources, unfold your database▸Select the table - Click the intersection of the row and column headers to select the data
- Click
Data To Textbutton in the Table Data toolbar -
File▸Print
Regards
Got steps 1-4 done, but on step 5, I’m not seeing a Data To Text button. What I see in the Table Data Toolbar is this: Save Current Record (grayed out), Edit Data, Cut (grayed out), Copy (grayed out), Paste (grayed out), Undo (grayed out), Find Record, Refresh, Sort, Assending, Decending, AutoFilter, Apply Filter (grayed out), Standard Filter, Reset Filter sort (grayed out)
Sorry, but in LO you can not do that, at least I don’t think so.
You can however do this:
a) print a screen-shot for a small table, using other tools which vary from system to system, and
b) create a report using the wizard and then print that.
Works OK for me.
