Base: When opening a table, why is the table record selector not initially visible?

What’s going on with the empty white record selector box in the lower left corner under Table Data View?

1. Initially upon opening a table (both w/ embedded data base & with JDBC connected db)

2. After resizing the window just slightly

Is this the way it’s working for everyone? If so I’ll submit a bug report… ???

I reproduce on my platform (windows 7/64 & Version: 5.2.4.2).
Privileging the display of the first records before having finished calculating their number is a good practice (used in other software). But you still have to end up with the result

@EasyTrieve It works fine for me on Windows 8.1 with LO 4.4.1.2 installed and LO Portable 5.0.2.2. I have downloaded your database Lookup2.odb so it is the same Companies Table. When I open the Table the Record Navigator is always visible.

This problem started in the v5.1.x series.

Just tried daily (v5.4) from 12/29 had around and the problem is still there. Don’t understand why is is not apparent in my v5.3 build - just re-checked & it’s OK.

I have just updated to LO5.2.7.2 on my Windows 10 PC, and am sad to report that the bug is still there as originally reported by EasyTrieve

@GowerMick I have just checked LO v5.3.2.2 and the problem no longer exists. Not sure when or how it was rectified because the bug report is still open.

Oops, my mistake. Forgot this was a dupliate. R is right. bug was fixed.
