Headings filling page creates an empty page

I have got a situation in LibreOffice Writer that ends in that I get an empty page.

I have been working with a classic minutes for a meeting and my document has header and footer. I use the format heading to get the numbering and things done automatically. When I have headings that fills more than one page Libreoffice acts up and pushes all the headings to the second page and the first page is basically empty, exempt for header and footer. If I then goes and put a new row after the number of headings that will fit on the page will LibreOffice put the first headers on the first page.

I have done some googling but could not find any description of the issue I have. Probably because I have not chosen the right words on my search. Have anyone else encountered this type of behavior?

Sounds to me like you have Keep with next paragraph checked in you Heading x paragraph styles.

This attribute causes the heading to be “tied” to the next paragraph so that the heading is not printed at the bottom of the page while its companion text starts on a new page.

In your case, if you have a burst of Heading x paragraphs without “text” paragraphs in-between (like Text Body or Default), all these Heading x paragraphs form an unsplittable block. In the case your minutes are only made of Heading x paragraphs, just ensure you uncheck the *Keep with next paragraph" box in the style(s) definition.
