LibreOffice Calc is inserting an unknown Frame of some type over Cell A1 in ever spreadsheet. It is filled with meaningless text. I can edit or delete the text but I can NOT get rid of frame or even identify what it is supposed to be.
I am getting VERY Flustrated — I abhore Windows but I may have to return to Windows and Excel if I can not resolve this problem.
Maybe in some way your default template was changed or modified:
It was data from QuickBooks … the spreadsheets are extracted from QB as I am trying to move the accounts from QB.
I still do not know how to get rid of the stupid frame object but the excel function “ActiveWorkbook.DisplayDrawingObjects = xlHide” will cause it to be hidden (of course you have to run Exclel to do that). More information at this URL:

Workbook.DisplayDrawingObjects Property
You have an option in Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice calc/View/Objects, but
