cutting and pasting text with tracked changes

There seems to be an issue that has developed in recent versions of LibreOffice.

Suppose I’m editing some text with tracked changes in Writer, and it looks like this:

Then I decide I want to move that edited paragraph to another location. So I cut and paste it, and when it is pasted, it comes out like this:

Hello my Nname is hHooseyfloot and iI have a questionquesttion about cuttingcuotting and pasting text.

Whereas in years gone by (using Libre Office, Word, OpenOffice) it would have come out looking like this (corrected without all the deleted letters mingled in there):

Hello my name is Hooseyfloot and I have a question about cutting and pasting text.

Is there something I’m missing / doing wrong? I don’t want to have to accept changes before cutting and pasting (the workaround I’m using at the moment).

Doesn’t work for you Menu/Edit/Track changes/Show ?

Oh - so you have to turn off view changes before cutting? That does work.But still think it is strange that it should copy across all the deleted characters if you leave changes visible before cutting.

Being positives, in this way you have the option to copy deleted/modified text.
