Group data "summary rows below detail" option

I use excel for its group data “summary rows below detail” option which is critical to my work. Ive looked and cant find anything similar or even a request for it here. Is there a request and if not, how do i make one?

No, pivots are different to row groups. I cant remember how, but i remember the difference being huge. At least two differences:-

  1. Row groups can be nested.
  2. Row groups with rows below the detail are also in my excel files recognised incorrectly by libreoffice calc, displayed strangely as if the top row is the summary row despite it clearly not being.

Open a fresh excel file, put some random data around the page and then create nested groups.

Then save file and reopen in Libre Office calc
