issue with spreadsheets with LO 5.3.0.3

Hi,

I have big problem since I’m using LO version 5.3.0.3 on Mac. all my spreadsheets with extensions xls, xlsx and xlsm will erased by the mentioned version above. This is strange because I used version 5.1.6 before and everything was ok.

Since 2 days I’m using the current versions of LO and following happens:

Open the file (with xls, xlsx and xlsm locally and also thought the cloud is fine at first time. After modification of the file when I will safe the change it takes a lot of time to save changes. Second if I reopen the file then I can’t see any content and nothing is there. This issue I have since I’m using the version above. Please help I need the Microsoft extension like xls etc. to modify my files on business pc.

Is there any patch or any solution for this problem?

Please try resetting the user profile, sometimes solves strange issues.

Usually it’s enough renaming/deleting the file “user/registrymodifications.xcu”, it affects all the options in Menu/Tools/Options, and the files “user/basic/dialog.xlc” and “scrip.xlc” are overwritten, additionally custom colors in “user/config/standard.soc” are lost.
