How do I create a new default location for my documents to be saved. I want them saved in my document library

I am new to this program and want my documents to be saved so they go into my Document library only, where I can easily find them.

Go to Tools | Options | LibreOffice | Paths and modify the setting for My Documents as needed.

NB If you are on a Mac then start at LibreOffice | Options
