How do you open the PDF document? From your file browser or in LibreOffice with the File > Open dialog?

It sounds like the file associations for PDF files have been altered. You haven't told us what OS you use so I can only make a generic suggestion to use whatever feature your OS provides to set the file association for PDF to your preferred application for opening PDF files.

For Windows 10 Click Start-->Settings-->System--->Default Apps

Is your OS Windows?, maybe you have set up using the 'Open with' for a pdf file in the explorer to open always with Draw, use the same way to change, right-click on a pdf file, choose 'Open with' - 'Choose another app', select the app for open and mark 'Always choose ...'
