I know that LibreOffice uses AES 256 encryption when password protecting files in ODF format. But what about when saving as a .docx file? In other words, if I type a document in Writer and save as .DOCX with password protection, what encryption algorithm is used (i.e. AES 256, etc.)?
I would also like to know this. Does anyone know the answer?
Is this not a MS Word question. .DOCX is a Microsoft proprietary document type. LibreOffice is an international standard which uses AES256 encryption not a LibreOffice standard.
