I have recently had problem with copy and pasting from a windows power point slide into libre office writer. It work perfectly with the following operating - right click - paste -> position and re size where i like to keep the image on the document, but when i want to re size it again the image disappears and rectangle remains for the image?

Can you please help me with this issue its can be stressful at times. I am not sure if its bug or something, but it only happens when i place a image after some time and go back and try to resize the pasted image. This image isn't pasted from HTTP its pasted from Windows powerpoint slide.

Control - shift - v when you use this command and try to resize the image after you paste it. The image will still go black with rectangle around it? I am beginning to think this is a Bug in libraoffice writer ..

@anonymous -- I'm not on a Windows machine here, so I can't repro your steps, but here's something else to test: What happens if you just Import an image from disk and then resize it? Do you experience the same problems in LO Writer?

To help us track down the problem, what OS and version of LibreOffice are you using?

can't you just simply copy and paste a image from another document without doing this extra step?

I tried control shift V and select bitmap or the other option and nothing happens?

This still doesn't answer nor fix my problem? ..

Try it out for you self. Find a picture from a power point or some other document. Copy/ paste it into your Office writer document. Try to re-size it and start typing
