Is it possible to show a multiline text field in a subform displaying multiple records at one time? I have a contacts subform, showing a list of related contacts, with each contact having a note field of perhaps 50-100 characters. Using a spreadsheet grid type subform only one line of text is visible. Can I change this to a wider multiline field and still show multiple contacts? Thanks for any help offered!
There are two things you can do. First in edit mode, go to the columns’ properties. Then under the General tab change Multiline input from No to Yes. This allows you to scroll through the text using the arrow keys.
If you want to view more text without scrolling simply widen the space of the lines by dragging a horizontal grid line to the size you want:
