Remove Repeating image on every page

I’m helping an older friend who’s writing a book using Libre Writer. Presently the problem is he’s brought an image into the document and the image is the only thing displayed in the 127 page file. The word count is still accurate but the words are not visible and I do not see how to remove this image. Thanks in advance.

1. Press F5 to call up the Navigator.
2. Expand images.
3. Click on the desired image to highlight it.
4. Press Delete.
