I would like to include an endnote reference in a footnote, but when I try, the option is dimmed (not available). I’m guessing this is not doable. But if so, how? If not, how might I submit a possible enhancement request?
I cannot reproduce this on 5.3.2.2. This is a test file with an example. I used cross-references for the task.
If you feel like submit any enhancement request, you are welcome to do it on TDF Bugzilla, where you also may file a bug report.
Thank you for your response. I guess I didn’t explain the problem clearly–sorry. In the footnote, I want to include an endnote. So, in your test file (thank you), I want to do the following: "1 Footnote: blah, blah, blah.(include an end note here)
FYI and for what it’s worth, I’ve tried this in an old version (2003) of MS Word and it doesn’t support this either.
Word 2016 doesn’t support it either. However, you may file an enhancement request nevertheless.
