In Calc,
If cells are hidden, I cannot format all of them together.
Can some one help me with this

How do you select the cells?
If you are using ctrl+click then no possible to select hidden cells.
If you drag with mouse or using shift+arrows the hidden cells are selected.
A simple test.
New spreadsheet
Enter a text form A1 to D1
Hide B column
Click on A1, retain Shift key pushed and click on D1.
Change the format.
Unhidden B column, have the same format as other cells?
