Once I open an Access database, is it possible to import an Access .MDB file containing queries?

TIA!

Thanks for the pointer, but they're talking mostly about importing tables, not queries. But if I have to install mysql, I might as well stay in that domain and punt LibreBase. The other Libra products do a good job with M$ compatibility, it's a shame that Base doesn't.

@paulkinzelman,

Are you asking if/how you can import an MDB file into LO Base?

Take a look at this question: http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/703/is-there-a-microsoft-access-mdb-conversion-filter/

There are also a couple of other mdb/access-related questions on this Ask site. Just search for 'mdb'.

You have to export your queries as SQL, then create a new query entry in your LO ODB file and copy the SQL into it (in SQL edit mode)
