What application - Calc, Writer, something else?

Later than what - greater than the current date, or something else?

Do you want red the text, background, border or something else?

on calc , later then today’s date and should update daily . text should get red ?

You can use the TODAY() function, like this:

1) Select the cell for which to apply Conditional Formatting,
2) Click on the menu "Format:Conditional Formatting:Condition..."
3) in the first listbox, select the item "Cell value is"
3) in the second listbox, select the item "greater than"
4) in the text box type: "TODAY()"
5) Apply Style in red,
6) click the OK button.
