Can I use the KDE or Gnome file chooser without using a DE? [closed]

I would like to use the KDE file chooser dialog, but obviously, that is only available if I run KDE. Is there a way to force libreoffice to use it anyway -- load the required libraries at startup if necessary -- through some kind of environment variable, if I use some non-DE window manager solution?

Thanks. The page mentions "kde" and "gnome" as alternatives. I had to set it to "kde4" in order for it to work. (which involved other problems, but I think those are related to the installation of KDE, and not to the libreoffice integration)
