Hi,

When we try to open a document with extension .doc or .xls from windows explorer only the correct program (Writer or Calc) opens but document itself is not loaded.

We can open the files with:file -> Open but it is not so useful for our users.

Is there a solution without changing the extension?

Hi @wouterhaegeman, What version of MS-Windows and what version of LibreOffice are you using?

2nd question: Do you experience the same problem when you try to open an ODS or an ODT file from Windows Explorer?

Found the solution, there was a problem with the extensions
