Hi All,

I'm brand new to LibreOffice. When editing a spreadsheet, I would like to delete the contents of a cell without needing to confirm the specific types of data. Is there a way to avoid that dialog?

Looking at the Help section it says that "Pressing Delete deletes content without calling the dialog or changing formats." However, pressing delete still gives me the dialog.

I am on Mac OSX 10.12.4

Might be on a Mac keys are differently labelled; Delete key on PC deletes without dialog, Backspace key with dialog. Try what works for you.

Hm. On my Mac there is only one key- delete. In this case, a shortcut combination would be helpful. eg: SHIFT + delete. I'll make a feature request for this. Thanks!
