How can i add a drop down calendar in calc?

making a spreadsheet with dates down one side. The dates I’m inputting are always changing. It’s a huge drain on my time to input the correct date every time I change the spreadsheet. Is there a way that I can have a drop down calendar so I can select the date?

There is an extension for that https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/calendar-for-calc

I have just installed this extension and wonder if there is a way to format the date to suit my locale in Australia. All the other dates in my spreadsheets are dd/mm/yyyy and it is confusing for users to suddenly be confronted with an ISO format.

The option for set up the format is on Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice Calc/Calendar.

Thank you m.a.riosv!! Works beautifully

I don’t suppose this extension would be friendly to those co-workers who’d be opening this spreadsheet in Excel, would it? Maybe if I save as .xls or similar?
