To whom it may concern at the Support of LibreOffice, good day,

We are using Libre with MAC workstations (including laptops).

We are experiencing the following behaviours :

  • crashes automatically intermittently while using the following tools :
  • presentation;
  • Text Document;
  • Drawing;
  • Freezes with the same tools;
  • takes time loading when starting.
  • executes functions with considerable delays, intermittently, especially with :
  • Text Document;
  • Presentation

Thank you for the consideration and help. Much regard, David ASSA

Short answer is no. I would recommend uninstall and reinstall. I can't remember if I installed it on my girlfriend's mac by way of app store or LibreOffice site download, but I'm thinking in your case it was a corrupted download.

Good day to you,

Thank you for the reply.

We have performed uninstall and install several times, on all our company systems, and for each one of your upgrades. We have several systems and servers in our offices and backbone. We just took your advice and performed installs via the AppStore. So now we will test to see if the issues reproduce themselves.

Thank you. Much regard
