Insert OLE Object in LibreOffice 5.3.3.2 Menu Issue

Hi,

OpenOffice has the ability to insert a MathType object using the “Insert OLE Object” with a submenu entitled “Further Objects” which opens up to other OLE functions installed on the machine.

A YouTube video shows how to do this quite simply:

Unfortunately, either through my own inexperience or LibreOffice’s design decision, there is no such option in your Insert OLE Object. Only objects that appear are the LibreOffice entries.

I know about your equation editor and it is fine, but would like the option to use MathType agagin as I am, as many are, used to using MathType in various MS Office Suites.

Thanks!
Chris

Trough further objects I can select Microsoft formula editor, but if I’m not wrong the list of apps after click on Further objects it’s made by the OS not by LibreOffice.
