How can I animate a jpg file?

Hi,

I have a JPG file that I want to use as a basis for an animation sequence. I have an idea of what I’d like to do, but don’t know how to go about doing it. Can anyone advise me?

PS
I’ve done some(emphasis on some!) work with photos in the past, but I’ve never created a video. I’m completely clueless when it comes to video creations…

Not a chance with LibreOffice… I think better search the web for ‘animated jpegs’.

Thanx, for the help! I did the search as you suggested & settled on trying out GIMP… (big learning curve
ahead of me)(I’m not the artistic type)
