So I am using Writer to create postcards for the Avery 5689 postcard (four cards/sheet). and would like to know how to add a specific addresses from a database to each individual card using a data base field or similar. Such as address1 for postcard1, address7 for postcard7 and so on. I have the addresses set up in a Base database. I often do mass mailings to specific addresses, using different designs for each mailing (no, NOT specific designs for each address) and would like to add the address so I only have to print once.

Hello yoyoderbs, you could just drag your address field headers from the Data Source panel ( F4 ) into your template.

1. Make sure that your address database is registered in LO,
2. Open the Data Source panel by pressing F4,
3. Expand your registered data source by clicking on the small triangle,
4. Select the Query or Table containing your address data.
5. Drag the column header of your address data column into your Writer document.
The field name will appear inside a grey block, the values will be inserted at printing time.

Alternatively, you could use the "Mail Merge Wizard" for this.
