I'm trying to make the transition from Excel and I'm struggling with the way External Data is handled. I get a CSV file output from Quicken that contains all my investment information. I overwrite this file a few times a week and let my spreadsheet calculate the returns. The way I have Excel set up is that it will reimport the data whenever I open the file. The equivalent functionality in Calc (I think) requires me to have an intermediate step of converting that CSV to a spreadsheet file that supports named ranges (which is a deal breaker until I'm forced to upgrade MS Office).

Is there a way I can get automatically pull an entire CSV file automatically on opening the file?
