2014-09-22 12:01:34 +0100 asked a question Text not visible when saved with Writer in .doc format and opened in MS Office 2013

when i type a single character or line without hitting enter(return key) and save the file in Writer in .doc format and open the same file in MS Office 2013, the document appears to be blank.

also, if i type one/few lines and the type the last line of the text/line and do not hit enter(return key) and save the file in .doc format and open in MS Office 2013, the last line doesnt appear.

probably a bug?

2014-08-20 10:35:11 +0100 answered a question Making a distribution

You can remove features/applications by editing the installation file (.MSI file) and creating MST transform.

For example you can set Level to 200 in Features table for gm_p_Draw and gm_p_Math, if you want to disable Draw and Math.

However, LibreOffice is a monolithic application, not a bundle of different applications like MS Office. Not installing components will not save much disk space.

Regarding distribution, i guess, LibreOffice is very flexible.

(If you are looking for rebranding/customizing LibreOffice let me know. I have been looking for the same.)

If anyone can help me with the information where/which folder does the Firefox personas reside, so that i can push these to all the libreoffice organization wide users.

Note: most of the users either do not have internet or they are under restricted network, so no one can connect to firefox themes URL.

Hi

How to change default font in all applications of Libreoffice?

I know the template method for the writer but i want to change default font in all applications.

it would be helpful if someone can tell me which file in libreoffice folders (program, share, config) the changes are, so that i can make sure that i can push the file through my system management tool to all users.

thanks slax
