Problem seems to be solved with LO 5.1.1!

Without having changed anything, installation of LO 5.1.1 (the successor of 5.1.0 that contains a lot of bug-fixes) went smoothly and launching now opens up any document (writer/calc/ etc.) without any problem.

2016-02-24 15:01:54 +0200 asked a question LO 5.1 on Asus Eee PC 1025C netbook?

On my Asus eee PC 1025C netbook under Win7 Starter, I have been running LO without any problems, including LO 5.0.5. When trying to upgrade to LO 5.1.0, installation goes fine, but on starting up LO 5.1.0, a blank (white) splash screen appears, followed by a white empty window (no menu, no empty document, just a white window).

Does anyone know how to solve this?

A reinstall of LO 5.0.5 runs fine!

2016-02-16 14:42:22 +0200 asked a question Calc 5.1 on Ubuntu 14.04: no 'sheet' menu item

I have upgraded to LO 5.1 under Ubuntu 14.04 using the 'LibreOffice 5.1.x' ppa. The writer app works fine, and has all the new features, but in the Calc menu, the 'Sheet' item is missing.

Does anyone know what is going on, and how should i fix this?
