Same issue, here, with OS X 10.8.3 and LO 4.02. The suggested solution did work.

Thank you very much! I was not able to find it. This solves the issue.

Hello,

LO Writer crashed when trying to reopen one of its files.

When opening the program again, a message appears, warning that the last time it unexpectedly quit when trying to reopen the window. You are asked to Do not open, or Open

Whether button you click, the warning cannot be closed. Each time you try to relaunch LO, the warning appears again.

Is there any way to reset it?

Best regards, Paolo

2012-08-14 02:39:30 +0100 asked a question Character count

The new LO 3.6 displays a word count in the status bar. Word count is used in the USA, but not in other countries, where character count is used instead. I wonder if this behavior can be changed in the preferences, otherwise this excellent new features would risk to be useless in a considerable part of the world.
