2021-04-21 11:07:26 +0200 | marked best answer | Calc - Find delta between a serie of points and a point Dear all, imagine you have a serie of points with a certain (fixed) coordinate between them. I then have an additional point which might end up sitting between 2 coordinates of the above mentioned serie. What is the best way to find the delta between the serie and the point? Here's an example: Serie: Point: In this case the result should be the delta between 8 and the interpolated value of 2.5 from the serie between 2 and 3 hence: 8-6 = 2 Of course, I don't know a priori where the point would end up being and I cannot simply use a linear interpolation of the whole serie. What I would need is a linear interpolation of the interval of the seri (0-1, 1-2 ...) and the the delta between the point and this linear interpolation. Thanks |

Thanks! |

2020-02-08 16:51:46 +0200 | marked best answer | Calc file not inheriting locale settings Dear all, my LO locale setting is set to English UK. If I create a new document and enter today's date, I get is this: 08/02/2020 which is exactly what I want However, I have an old file where if I enter today's date anywhere, I get the American format: 02/08/2020 How is this possible? Is there a locale setting specific per file? Used to be ok until yesterday and this is driving me nuts. Thanks |

Works fine however it only works correctly if the cell where you fill the formula in is in the same sheet as cell A1, otherwise I get sheet2.sheet3.A1. Is there any way to fix it?
