2019-03-19 17:39:48 +0200 marked best answer Filter for ODS in --convert-to is not OpenDocument Spreadsheet Flat XML

I've found the filter for this format here: https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoff... as suggested in this topic: https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/questi....

When I type in the command:

libreoffice6.2 --convert-to ods="OpenDocument Spreadsheet Flat XML" *.doc

I get an error:

Error: no export filter for /media/.../test/Absent_en.ods=OpenDocument Spreadsheet Flat XML found, aborting. Error: no export filter

I tried other combinations like doc>pdf and doc>odt and they all worked just by writing odt and pdf into the command, but for some reason even that lengthy filter is not enough!

Please help

P.S Other sites (like this one: http://www.ubuntubuzz.com/2016/08/lib...) propose using

libreoffice6.2 --headless --convert-to ods *.doc

but even adding --headless doesn't work

2019-03-16 16:13:47 +0200 marked best answer Keyboard shortcut to move to a specified column to the right?

Hi,

Is there any way to make a shortcut to go to a specified column? I have two often-used columns which have to be separated by many less-often-used columns, so I have to TAB my way to the right all the time.

I tried Control+Right arrow, but that takes me all the way to the end of the spreadsheet. A workaround would be to fill in the right column with probably zeroes, just so that when I press Control+Right arrow, it stops right there.

Any ideas? Thank

2018-10-14 02:38:09 +0200 marked best answer Cells above certain standard deviation formatted conditionally

If certain cells are above the standard deviation, they should be formatted conditionally.

How to achieve this? I've seen in the conditional formatting an option "higher than the average", but that is not quite what I wanted, obviously.

Standard deviation would allow me to have some margin of error for higher and lower values, but marking those which are extremely higher or extremely lower too.

EDIT: I found the formula for standard deviation and applied it in conditional formatting as "Cell value more than" STDEVA(F3:F45) but not all cells were marked as expected (see cell with 0,99 1,74 and 1,02 respectively).

EDIT2: I checked the range and the last cell is F10, so that's not the root of the problem)

But in my example, the "previous" place hasn't derived from me searching for a phrase. I was just browsing. Sure, when I'm going to do find&replace I'll feel free to use the option but otherwise, I won't be able to go back neither.

2016-08-13 18:39:03 +0200 asked a question Is there a method to go back to previos rows when searching through a big table?

Hi!

When you search through a really big table with data (let's say 10 000 rows) and you want to go back to the previous "place" in the table, how can you do that?

Example

  • I was browsing a big table and stopped at rows 567-590
  • I searched for a phrase
  • I'm at rows 2300-2335
  • I want to go back to rows 567-590 (roughly)

Thank you all for answers.

Sincerely
