2016-08-05 21:49:31 +0200 asked a question Mail merge wizard (eMail), insert unique hyperlink: how?

Hello,

In Writer's "Mail Merge Wizard" I'm trying to create a mailing with in each message a unique hyperlink. The main part of the hyperlink is static and the unique part (uuid) is in the database. I can create a visually valid hyperlink, but not clickable. Either it misses the unique part or it has <uuid> reference code instead of the actual value.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Kind regards, Maarten

Ok, thanks that works almost perfect. Under OS-X it is Command+Shift+Return(or Enter).

2013-12-02 10:40:07 +0200 asked a question SUMIF: apply function input range

Hello,

I want to use the SUMIF function to get the sum of some amounts in a certain year. However, to get the years from a date one needs to apply the YEAR() function. Is there a way to apply a function on a range? Or, have a function that returns the modified range? Something like:

=SUMIF(FUNCTION(YEAR();E$8:E$9000); "=2012"; P$8:P$9000)

Thanks in advance, Maarten

2012-11-14 17:31:27 +0200 asked a question Writer: prevent page and heading popup while scrolling

Hello all,

I've got LO 3.6.3.2 (OSX 10.7) installed and it works wonderfully. However, there is one annoying thing I would like to get rid of if possible. When scrolling through a document it shows in a popup which page you're on and under which heading/chapter it falls. Hence the width of the popup depends on the length of the heading. It disappears after about 4 seconds.

While this function can be handy at times, it can also be very annoying when reading large documents. You always have to remember constantly to keep your pointer somewhere below on the page otherwise the popup will block some sentence. This distracts from the actual task: reading.

Can this function be disabled?

Kind regards, Maarten
