As you see in the attached image (taken from a master document) although i have chosen "numbering captions by chapter" -> level 1 the caption label numbering is displayed wrong( i want Image 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 3.23 for every chapter not any further sub-chapter numbers in the image labeling). The master document and all sub documents are from the same template and all files included the template's options are configured the same way. At every sub document the labeling is ok, as expected. Is that issue probably coming from tweaking something in Headings options? Thank you in advance. |

I want to every chapter (different writer document) each figure i add in a chapter to be displayed as "Figure 2.1: blabla","figure 2.2: blublu" (example for Document which contains Chapter 2). In other words i want each Writer document to be written and captioned independently but the caption in different chapters/Documents to have predefined chapter numbering. I have inserted every chapter i wrote so far in the master document and all Writer files including the master document are made from the same template. Is what i want currently possible? Because despite reading Writer guide i failed to spot the right configuration. |
