2013-09-27 14:42:52 +0200 commented question Input List text won't wrap into formatted paragraphs

As soon as I posted the question, I jumped on this same train of thought.

I am using Vista, and I was trying to save as a .doc file. I rebuilt the document and saved it as an .odt file. This should have occurred to me sooner. So far, no problems.

2013-09-26 23:34:51 +0200 asked a question Input List text won't wrap into formatted paragraphs

I'm using an input list to create a varied form letter. It's sort of a choose-your own adventure variation on a business letter template.

Unfortunately, the text won't wrap into properly formatted paragraphs.

In fact, after saving and reopening the document, the fields become read-only text. I am still able to choose the sentence I want from a pop-up window, but I am no longer able to edit the field. (Right-clicking brings up a useless formatting menu.)

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

2013-09-25 17:46:08 +0200 asked a question repeat text fields (auto-populate)

In LO Writer, I would like to enter a mailing address below the signature line in a business letter, including four fields: Name, Street Address, City/State, and Zip Code. Once that information has been entered, I would each the text in each field to automatically appear in specific places within the body of the letter.

I have experimented with many combinations and variations of fields but have been unable to achieve the intended result.

Any advice or suggestions would be welcome. Thank you in advance for your help.
