We are a club of 10 members, and I send an agenda out and those that use office cannot open it. How may I save it so MS Office will open a Libre Office text Documen?
Try this :
File → Save As… → MicrosoftWord97-2003(.doc)
File> Save As> and pick the .doc format.
And read the manual.
File > Export as PDF. Then anyone can read and print it without needing any office system. The manual will also tell you this.
You only need to use .odt (or .doc) if the recipient needs an editable version of the document.
