Without further information this will not be answered:

what operating system you’re using?
Which version of LO?
The message is issued by your operating system? Or LO?

Did you check for permissions, on that drive (which type is it)?

“Permission denied” message by an operating system (normally) means that the user (Logon ID) you’re running the program with don’t have the rights (=permission) to access/read/write the file. Sometimes that message happen if, say, an USB stick is mounted (=integrated) into the system read-only.
So, check that (user?, permissions?) with your file explorer. I can’t be any help here , because I don’t have/know Windows 10.

In answer to your questions:
-I am using W10
-I do not use LO: I do not have it on my PC
-The message was from my OS
-I do not understand your last question- permissions? drive? type?

I hope this helps

Please don’t add further information about your question as answer, edit your question instead. And LO is the short form used here for LibreOffice.

How can you use Writer if you do not have LO (LibreOffice) installed, as Writer is part of LO? Are you using it as a Portable App?
