I am running Version: 5.1.6.2 Build ID: 1:5.1.6~rc2-0ubuntu1~xenial1. I used auto numbering editing a .docx document, but now want to prevent any further automatic numbering of my text. I turned off autocorrect while typing, but the auto numbering 'option' is still active. For example, I am in a numbered paragraph and I hit return and then new paragraph is numbered and the later ones' numbering is adjusted upwards by one.

This behavior persists even if I reset my user settings to the default values. Posts for OOffice 4.2 suggest there should be a 'numbering' option in the AutoCorrect Options window, but I do not see any.

Can anyone help me solve this annoying problem?

Thanks for the info. It seems like the Presentation Mode-> In a Window will work well for this.

Thanks, that not only helps with this problem, but provides me more general insight into using these functions.

I'm trying to write a formula that will count up the number of instances a set of criteria are met in an array of cells

So far I have been using the SUMPRODUCT() function but it doesn't allow me to use multiple criteria for matching. For example,

=SUMPRODUCT(A1:A100="MATCH1",B1:B100="MATCH2")

But what I really want is something like,

=SUMPRODUCT(A1:A100="MATCH1",B1:B100="MATCH2a" || "MATCH2b")

Where the second criteria is cells that match either string "MATCH2a" OR "MATCH2b".

Any help would be appreciated.

Hmmm good idea. I might be able to figure out a work around using ';' as my separation value and making sure all cells are quoted. However, I don't see how I can indicate I want to do that using the command line. Any suggestions?

I am trying to convert some .xls files .csv files using the command line on a Linux system (Ubuntu 14.04, LO v 4.2.8) using the following command

$ libreoffice "-env:UserInstallation=file:///tmp/LibO_Conversion" --headless --invisible --convert-to csv "$INFILE"

Unfortunately, I am running into problems doing this because some of the cells in the .xls file include text with double quotes (") and commas. As a result there are situations where it is ambiguous as to where a particular cell begins or ends in the .csv file I create. I am wondering if it's possible to pass arguments to LibreOffice during the conversion process so that the double quotes within a cell are converted to \" or even single quotes (').

Can anyone provide me with some suggestions on how to do this?
