Arrow in Impress is embedded in a white rectangle

I made a presentation in Impress and added an arrow on a slide. The arrow is displayed fine in revision-mode, but gets embedded into a white rectangle once presentation-mode is started.

All the arrows have this behavior. Is there a work around for this? (Yes, I make a .png-file, make the background transparant, …). I don’t have this behavior on another computer. Maybe this is related to a graphics driver problem?

upvoted so you could upload the image

A .odp showing the issue would be better.

I could not notice the described behaviour on my machine (LinuxMint 18.2-64 Mate). Seems to be a “personal problem” of your specific computer.

Very strange special behaviour of LibO “on one machine” is sometimes caused by a corrupted user profile.
I recent times als OpenGL was oftn the villain concerning problems with the view / rendering / display.
(I could only test on Win 10. No errors.)

Problem solved by removing the legacy driver

sudo apt remove xserver-xorg-video-intel
