I really, really want to use Libre Office instead of MS but you have to make it more like MS including context menu items that make it easy to write documents. Where is the thesaurus??? hidden away and difficult to use… Most people want it right there at the cursor, just right click and the spelling and thesaurus are there… even webpages have this functionality now…

My solution to this was to create a custom toolbar, then customize it with buttons to invoke the Thesaurus, and also to do three of the “case” commands: uppercase, lowercase, and Capitalize All Words. It’s not quite as quick and simple as a right-click context menu, but better than having to navigate a hierarchy of menus. Now if I can find a way to add a button for a custom character style…
Some of my special buttons actually launch specific macros; this is a quite powerful approach.
