Why is there no record macro button in my libreoffice?

tools>macro> givses me record macro button in openoffice but this is missing from libreoffice, so how can I record a macro?

In Tools > Options> Advanced under “Optional (Unstable) Options” there is a check box for “Enable macro recording (limited)”

If you have an old version, as I recall it could be in Tools Options LibreOffice General.
