2017-06-10 08:46:22 +0200 ベストアンサーマーク Unable to install language tool in LO 4.4 under Ubuntu

Whenever I try to install language tool 2.8 on my Libre Office v.4.4 running on Ubuntu I always get the same error which prevents me from installing it:

(com.sun.star.uno.RuntimeException) { { Message = "unknown error!", Context = (com.sun.star.uno.XInterface) @0 } }

Apparently the latest version (2.8) should be compatible with LO 4.4 and in fact I successfully installed it under Windows. After having checked my system settings (see below) I found this message on Language Tool's forum which states that it may be related to Libreoffice instead of being Language Tool's problem.

My system settings are the following ones:

  • Libreoffice 4.4
  • Kubuntu 14.04
  • Java version: java version "1.7.0_76", Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_76-b13), Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.76-b04, mixed mode)

2017-06-08 18:24:29 +0200 ベストアンサーマーク Rename caption category

Scenario: I am working with Writer and I have been using automatic captions for images so they are labeled Image xx. However, I made up my mind and I would like to change the category of all the already existing captions so they are called Figure xx instead. Unfortunately it is not so easy as simply renaming the caption text, as I encounter two problems:

  1. I have plenty of images and renaming one by one is quite time consuming. Since the word Image is very common I cannot perform a regular search and replace.
  2. I am using automatic images' index, so the new and old images need to belong to the same category, as indexes only allow one category at a time.

So my question is: Is there any automated way to rename an already used caption category?

2017-05-12 16:35:40 +0200 ベストアンサーマーク Can't move chapter down/up using navigator

I am using Libreoffice 4.0.2 and I have just noticed that when using Writer I can't move a whole chapter (and all its contents) up and down using navigator as I used to do in previous versions.

The problem is that it's not possible to click on icons that allow to increase/decrease one level and move chapters (and subchapters) up and down, although they are displayed (see screenshot here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1zq78mtob6av17n/navigator.png)

Can anyone tell me how can I solve this problem? I find this feature really handy and time-saving.

Thank you

2016-07-29 11:39:38 +0200 質問をする Fields in master documents: referencing a header title from another document

I am working with several files (eg: file1.odt file2.odt) which are combined in a master document and I would like to add a field to a chapter's title (header) that belongs to another file (eg: I would like to add a field in file1.odt pointing to chapter 3 in file2.odt). I know it is possible to add fields using Insert\Fields\More Fields (CTRL+F2 and then select the desired header from the "Cross Reference" tab (it may be labelled something else, as I am not using an English version), provided I have used headers (which I have done so). Unfortunately the header list only displays the headers within the same document, so I haven't found any way to link to a header belonging to another file.

Is there any way to fix that?

Thanks for your answer. I tried it and it worked great, except for the fact that once I get the odt file, it seems to have the contents locked and I'm afraid they are still linked (judging from the dialog menu which appears when opening the file and prompting me to update linked data). Any idea about it?
